Highlights From the Atomic Testing Museum of Las Vegas
If you’re in Vegas looking to take a breather, there’s a small but popular museum there about atomic testing and the atomic bomb. Here are a very few of the best parts from its permanent collection and current featured exhibition, “Building Atomic Vegas” (which closes January 5, 2012).
A postcard featuring the “first women” in Wahmonie, Nevada.
An unconfirmed sampling of canned fruit.

Overheard near the dummy: A 40-ish father to his young son: “Is that a witch? That witch is tied up.”
